Growing insurance company in the Deerfield area is looking to add an Audit Clerk to their invoicing team. This role would report into the VP of Operations.
Position Summary: Responsible for general accounting duties related to general ledger accounting. This will include primarily auditing and reviewing detailed invoices to ensure accuracy, as well as assisting daily, monthly and quarterly closing processes, standard entries and departmental reconciliations. It will also include filing, answering telephone calls and handling routine correspondence and file maintenance.
This role is temp to hire - immediate interviews/start.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
- HS Diploma required, BS or BA preferred
- 1 yr of applicable experience
- Keen attention to detail, accuracy
- Dependable and reliable
- Local candidate (North suburbs ideally)
- Able to start ASAP.
